So guys, one of the most awaited camera smartphones is finally here—the Vivo X300 Pro.

And yes, it actually has a bird photography mode. No joke.
To test it, we were roaming around the small forests in Mumbai, and trust me, capturing photos there was a real challenge. But the shots we managed to take are worth checking out. Before that, let’s talk about the camera setup.

At the back, you get a full Zeiss camera system with a gimbal-grade main camera.
It includes:

  • 50MP main camera

  • 200MP Zeiss APO telephoto camera

  • 50MP Zeiss ultra-wide camera

We also took tons of shots using 100X zoom. We first went to Flamingo Point and clicked pictures of flamingos at 100X. Even at that zoom level, the images look surprisingly good.

There’s also a “Merotar” mode. When you zoom in up to 10X, a tiny bird icon pops up, and the phone auto-detects birds. So for all our bird shots, we used Mero Mode.
And you can see how nicely it captures depth and details—especially in the bird photos.

Honestly, in Mumbai you mostly find just pigeons and crows, so don’t ask how we managed flamingos. That’s our struggle.

The rear camera can record 4K 120 FPS videos, and not only that—you can also shoot Dolby Vision videos in 4K 120 FPS.
Here, we’ve shown two clips: one with Dolby Vision on, one without.
Tell me in the comments which one looks better to you.

We also captured tons of photos—indoors, outdoors, normal mode, portrait mode at different focal lengths, and ultra-wide shots. Let me know in the comments how you like the images.
Testing is still in progress, so wait for the full in-depth review.

For low-light, here’s one shot that was taken in almost complete darkness. After processing, the results look really impressive. Vivo honestly dominates night photography—no doubt about that.

The front camera is solid too—you get a 50MP selfie camera.
You can check out selfies in normal and portrait modes, both indoors and outdoors.

Now, why are people so hyped about the Vivo X300?
Because it has the Pro Imaging Chip VS1, which pre-processes every frame, and the V3 Plus chip, which handles the post-processing.
So basically, the phone has two dedicated chips just for image processing.
And on top of that, it runs on the powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9500.

As for Antutu scores and performance, we’ll cover all that in the full review video—testing is still ongoing.

Talking about the build—we have the Elite Black color here.
It has a premium unibody design with 3D glass and symmetric bezels.
The phone comes with Origin OS 6 out of the box, and you get Flipkart’s interactive lock screen where the image changes when you tilt the phone.

There’s also the Origin Island.
If music is playing, the music tab shows up there.
If you copy a link, you can instantly share it from Origin Island to any app.
Plus, there’s a touch-to-share feature where you can directly share images to an iPhone.

So yeah guys, testing of the Vivo X300 Pro is still going on.
