Most of the time when I review a movie and new people show up in the comments, they’re like, “First, tell us if the movie’s good? We can deal with the philosophy later.” So to all the newbies here, I’ll just say it straight: the movie’s good. Go watch it. If you like love stories, you’re gonna love this even more. To put it in perspective, if you liked "Sayara," this one’s like its boss. You’ll get so much intense love, you’ll wanna make reels about it.

If you watch it in theaters, you won’t shed a tear because it feels fake. You’ll come home, quietly find a dark corner, and cry by yourself. So that was the review for the new audience. Now, for my old fans who know I have a habit of throwing in some philosophy, my videos aren’t complete without it. So let’s get to that. Look, brother, there are two kinds of love stories. One is like those in Dharma or Yash Raj Studios’ films. Those love stories are very different from the love stories of regular people. They’re like the stories in La La Land.

It happens. Their characters are pretty polished, very film-like, and mostly belong to the upper class. For the common man, it’s like an ideal love story—something he wants but never really has. It’s that Bollywood romantic love story image we have in our minds, like a dreamy world. Saiyara was one of those too. Then come filmmakers like Anand Elroy, whose love stories are a bit different from these romantic tales. Their characters are raw, grounded, and impulsive. They’re much closer to the middle class. This kind of love is more relatable to the common man.

Stories don’t want it, but it happens anyway. Like Ranjhana and now Tere Ishq Mein. The kind of love you see in those virus-themed movies entertains your mind. But the love shown in Tere Ishq Mein blows your heart and mind apart and shows you reality— the naked truth of love. No lies, no comforting illusions. And that’s exactly what Tere Ishq Mein does for you. This movie also answers the biggest question that’s probably crossed every guy’s mind at some point: why do girls run away from good boys?

Why? Why are they always attracted to bad boys? And I’m sure this question has crossed your mind at some point too. If you’ve ever been in love, you must’ve wondered about this. The answer is, good boys are boring. It’s a bit harsh, but it’s true. Speaking from personal experience here. Girls just don’t feel that spark with them—the kind that brings some thrill into their lives. Here’s something interesting: girls have this urge to change guys, to fix them. In this mission, they...

It's fun. That's why girls first get attracted to bad boys, then try to fix them and turn them into good guys. They get a kind of creative satisfaction from it. But good boys are already reformed, so girls find them boring because there’s nothing exciting to do with them. Our story revolves around this idea. I’m not gonna discuss the film’s story here because I’ve done a special psychological analysis on it.

I'm about to make a video with spoilers. There's a lot of material in the movie for that, and it's necessary too. Otherwise, some people misunderstand and think that if someone likes movies like "Animal" or "Tere," they must be like those characters in real life. They probably forget that our brain has a part called the mammal brain, which is responsible for distinguishing between reality and digital reality. To put it in story terms, it helps us tell the difference between fact and fiction. So, trust your mammal brain on this.

Keeping control is really important. Anyway, let’s get back to the movie. The reason I keep mentioning Sayara’s name is because that movie was a blockbuster thanks to the hype. Otherwise, it wasn’t anything special. But here, you get a complete package. The best thing about this movie is its dialogues. In a love story, you don’t really feel it unless the dialogues are intense. And after that comes the performance. We all know Dhanush is a brilliant actor. For movies like this, there’s no better face than Dhanush.

Maybe no one else could. That’s why Anand sir always picks them for these kinds of movies. His face looks like an everyday guy’s. You see that roughness, that realness on his face—the kind we see in the mirror every day. But I was surprised by Kriti Sanon's acting. The way she handled the intense scenes, she’s moving out of the typical heroine zone into proper actress territory. Not everyone looks good crying, but Kriti is one of those few actresses who can still look cinematic even while crying. Besides that, the movie’s...

Man, what can I say about the songs? Rahman sir has truly poured his heart out. Anyway, buddy
